Enhanced User Experience of Chemical Industry’s Leading Simulator Improves Engineering Productivity, Makes it Easier to Use Other aspenONE® Engineering Products
Aspen Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: AZPN), a leading provider of software and services to the process industries, announced a new release of Aspen Plus software that significantly improves the user experience for the leading process simulator in the chemicals industry. The completely redesigned user interface and workflow improves engineering productivity and enables the use of process simulation to a wider range of new users. It is the latest example of AspenTech delivering on its strategy to offer common user interface standards across all aspenONE® products.
The new Aspen Plus provides an enhanced user experience with a fully integrated simulation environment to easily and quickly access other aspenONE Engineering products that are now used as a standard across the process engineering lifecycle. This enables easy and intuitive access to the most comprehensive physical properties database, the industry-leading capital cost estimating product, and the most complete heat exchanger thermal and mechanical design products.
This saves time, capital, and energy costs for project design, revamps, and plant operations. It also makes it easier for new and existing users to collaborate and optimize their process designs by sharing the same data and models and working within the same environment.
In addition, engineers can access Aspen Online Training from the ribbon bar – making it easier for new and occasional users to improve their skills and retain knowledge. Process engineers can also jump start projects and optimize operations by efficiently finding and accessing models and data through the Aspen Search™ tool.
The new release of Aspen Plus is available immediately. For more information, visit http://www.aspentech.com/v7.
