New technology from MAHLE improves productivity by 44%

International filtration company MAHLE have launched another innovation in dust filter technology. Their new pleat distance technology – the MAHLE “ Nocke” system – promises to increase filter performance by up to 44%.

The new technology focusses on pleat distance control incorporating engrained ridges within the media. The real benefits of this advancement are that cleaning efficiency is dramatically improved and the total filter surface area is available resulting in longer life. This longer filter life, up to 44%, produces cost savings for the user through reduced down time, reduced maintenance and less frequent replacements. The consistent low pressure drop also reduces the need for system adjustments thereby providing the required extraction for longer periods of time.

Dustcheck – the UK and Ireland supplier of MAHLE filters know what this means to businesses. Pete Dawson, Dustcheck”s Sales Director said:

“MAHLE are already leading the field in dust filtration.  Their constant commitment to their customers sees their continued investment and development of their products ensuring MAHLE customers always get the best. In this case this advancement means longer filter life, reduced maintenance costs, reduced down time and improved productivity. All of these things will save businesses money.”

The new technology will be applied to the following:

  • Cartridges with a diameter of 328-360 mm
  • Cylindrical cartridges with a length of 600-800 mm
  • Cartridges with a pleat depth of 50 mm
  • Cartridges with Polyester mediasTI15 & TI08
  • Cartridges with galvanised sheet metal components
