NEW – Test unit for AD sludge Dewatering

MSE Hiller recently announced the sale of one of it’s new range DP15-422 “micro decanters” to The Centre for Process Innovation (CPI) in Teeside.
The trial unit which is complete with feed pump, stand and control panel will be used to investigate new process techniques and answer the issues of advanced sludge digestion and dewatering.

With typical a typical flowrate capacity of between 100 and 600 l/hr the unit is possible of creating G forces of up to 3,500 x g which will ensure the optimum dewatering of most types of sludges encountered.
CPI was set up to develop and enhance, novel and innovative process techniques for the Chemical, pharmaceutical, waste processing bio gas  and other industry sectors within the North East.
Based in Teeside and with the help of government funding it has set up a state of the art research and development centre which is open to all customers to strengthen the UK process industry.
