Bond-Rite REMOTE Plastic Battery Version
Continuous Ground Loop Monitoring static earthing units
Newson Gale is pleased to announce a new addition to the Bond-Rite range of Continuous Ground Loop Monitoring static earthing units for eliminating the hazards of static electricity from potentially flammable and combustible atmospheres. Bond-Rite REMOTEs can now be supplied with wall mounted IECEx / ATEX certified Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) indicator stations for installation in potentially hazardous processing areas.
Bond-Rite REMOTE – New Additions
The new GRP indicator station utilises the same circuit monitoring electronics and green flashing LED of the current Bond-Rite range, informing operators when a safe static earth connection of less than 10 ohms has been established with process equipment at risk of accumulating hazardous levels of electrostatic charge. The static dissipation circuit is then monitored continuously throughout the material handling / transfer process.
The recently enhanced circuit monitoring PCB has boosted the working lifetime of the battery, requiring only 2 changes per year when used for an average of up to six hours per day, providing a flexible alternative to the Intrinsically Safe (ia) mains powered units. The battery-powered version of the Bond-Rite REMOTE can be installed and operating in less than an hour.
Both the battery powered and IS/mains powered Bond-Rite REMOTE with GRP indicator station are IECEx / ATEX certified and can be mounted in Zone 0, 20, 1, 21, 2, 22 areas and IIC gas environments.
All Bond-Rite REMOTEs are supplied with ATEX & FM approved 2 pole clamps and Hytrel protected cable.
