The all new ¼” ported P3L Lite filter, regulator and lubricator offers a wealth of benefits

Parker Hannifin, a global leader in motion and fluid control solutions, has launched the new P3L Lite air preparation system.  The new P3L series has been developed to provide a rugged, high quality, ultra lightweight air preparation system, which combines excellent performance and value for money.  Suitable for a vast range of general purpose applications within pneumatic systems the P3L Lite series is available as filter, regulator stand alone units or filter/regulator combinations.  What’s more this new range offers a real cost effective alternative to competitor product that has similar performance and configurations.

Suitable for operating pressures from 0 to 10 bar, the ¼” ported units maybe used individually, but are also fully modular.  This allows units to be connected together without the use of pipe connectors.  This technique saves space and provides for constant mounting centres whilst maintaining a modern aesthetically pleasing appearance.  Available with an operating temperature range of 0 to +50C, the P3L Lite has been specifically designed to filter out rust, dirt, moisture and other impurities from compressed air lines.

The units are available with a choice of 5 or 40-micron filter elements and feature either manual or semi auto drains.  For environments where the removal of liquid aerosols and sub micron particles is required, Parker offer coalescing filters, and for the removal of oil vapours and most hydrocarbons, adsorber filters can be purchased to provide high purity air. The elements themselves have been developed and supplied by Parker Dominick Hunter who are a world leader in filter technology.

For aggressive applications a brass-bodied regulator is available and both relieving and non-relieving versions are standard options.  An additional feature of the range is the modular manifold block which enables combinations to be made with “air take off” points at selected paths in the combinations This allows for an un lubricated “air take off” or differing pressure “air take off” to be assembled dependant on position.

Extensively stocked through Parkers approved network of distributors further information on the new P3L Lite series can be obtained at: www.parker.com/pde/p3l
