Parker Hannifin, a world leader in pneumatics technology, has introduced a new value engineered ISO 15552 pneumatic cylinder.  The P1D-B range is a viable alternative that offers first class function, consistent quality and proven reliability for a wide variety of industrial applications. Offered in bore sizes from 32 to 125mm, the double acting P1D-B range is available in stroke lengths up to 2800 mm and is manufactured in light weight aluminium with anodised aluminium body extrusion for excellent service life.

Fully compliant to the specifications laid down in the ISO 15552 standard, the P1D-B range offers full interchangeability to any equivalent cylinder around the world. For customers who have problems with their current supplier due to quality/reliability, price or delivery, the P1D-B stands as a strong alternative to offer benefits in all those issues.  What’s more the P1D-B is instantly available through Parkers network of partners, thus making the range the ideal ‘swap out’ choice for maintenance teams that are doing scheduled or un-planned maintenance and want to minimise system downtime.

A full range of accessories is available such as mountings and drop in sensors and the P1D-B features a magnetic piston combined with adjustable cushioning.  Suitable for applications in the pressure range of 0.5 to 10 bar the cylinders in their standard form offer an operating temperature range of -20 °C to +80 °C.

For built in reliability the range benefits from the proven Parker polyurethane seal technology and features polished stainless steel piston rods that provide smooth movement. All P1D-B cylinders, for normal operating temperatures, have an initial greasing of transparent, non-toxic grease, which has been approved by the food industry.
