Riley Surface World has been appointed to handle the sale and decommissioning of a large Würster powder coating and painting facility formerly used by JCB Vibromax in northern Germany

JCB Vibromax was a manufacturer of road rollers and soil compactors in Germany. Following the restructuring of its manufacturing operations,  the powder coating and painting plant and the building in which it is housed, are now available as a going concern or for relocation to other similar organisations around the world.

Würster, which is also based in Germany, is one of the world’s leading producers of powder coating and painting plant and machinery

The facility, which is housed in a purpose-designed building, was manufactured and installed in 2008. It consists of a pre-treatment line, drying and curing ovens, twin down flow powder booths with extraction and recovery, waste water treatment plant, an extensive conveyor installation and a Siemens control system.

In addition to the process plant, the building is also available to lease subject to negotiations with the landlord.

Riley Surface World was appointed to handle the sale due to its specialist knowledge of the surface treatment and coating industries, its global marketing capabilities and its experience of handling similar projects for other national and multinational companies.

The company will be featuring this plant and other substantial surface finishing facilities at forthcoming exhibitions in Mexico, Germany and the USA during the remainder of 2016.
