Pumps for when downtime is not an option – Thank Godwin!

Listen to this article

Godwin, a Xylem brand, is the world leader in self-prime® pumps delivering, robust pumping solutions for a number of water, wastewater or industrial fluid applications.

From digester cleaning and sludge removal in municipal applications to drainage in mines and quarries, Godwin’s automatic self-priming diesel and electric powered pumps offer reduced labour costs and reliable operation in the toughest of environments.

Handling solids up to 125mm in diameter, the Dri-Prime high volume, medium head CD series and medium volume, high head HL series all prime automatically from dry to 8.5m of suction lift. They can re-prime from dry thanks to the mechanical shaft seal being located within its own liquid bath to dissipate heat through the pump casing.

Other benefits such as the abrasion-resistant silicon carbide seal face and open impeller design aid trouble-free performance and versatility even in the most abrasive of applications such as drilling muds and industrial fluids.

Because no two jobs are the same, Godwin offers a variety of durable pump ends to match the pumping environment. Using cast iron as standard and offering interchangeable stainless and cast steel as well as hard iron and high chrome, each pump can be tailored to offer longevity and efficiency before being put to work.

Other suitable applications include wastewater bypass and site drainage for the industrial and construction sectors and water supply for hydraulic fracturing for the oil and gas markets.

Since being acquired by Xylem, world leaders in water technology, Godwin is able to sell its products direct to its customers as well as offering the very best self-prime® pumps through Xylem Flygt rental.
