Rapid, lightweight and ready to run chemical dosing

Verder UK have launched new a new chemical dosing system suitable for small scale, rapid deployment and temporary applications.

The system is a packaged dosing system featuring a Verderflex Dura 10 peristaltic pump, inverter, probe sensor and electrical distribution. These components are housed in a PE UV resistant frame which is both floor-standing and hook-mountable onto any standard IBC.

In addition to the dosing system, the unit comes complete with a mounted dynamic mixer to maintain the suspension of the chemical suspension such as lime slurry.

Simple to use Chemical Dosing System

The unit comes ready to run: Just add power, chemical and set the probe meter to the desired level. Probes for different applications may be fitted such as for pH correction or turbidity measurement.

The dosing rig weighs up to 50kg so can easily be transported as a two man lift or by basic manual handling devices. This makes it especially useful for where an emergency system is required should a larger scale dosing kiosk unexpectedly fail. The unit is extremely compact and robust, so where a only a small footprint is required within a confined space, the system can be provide chemical dosing without intruding.

The system is available with up to a 500l/h capacity with fluids from 5-70^oC. At the heart of the system, the Verderflex Dura peristaltic pump provides solid, reliable pumping, particularly with abrasive fluids such as lime slurry. Thanks to the peristaltic action the dosing is accurate and consistent with no abrasive wear.
