High-pressure compressor manufacturer, Reavell will be launching its new water-cooled compressor for the first time in the UK at AirTech 2012.
Developed in response to customer demand for a water-cooled unit that can offer a constant, energy-efficient source of air, the new compressor will be on show at stand A218, one of four Gardner Denver group stands at AirTech.
The company is also encouraging compressed air specialists that are interested in adding the Reavell brand to their product portfolio to visit the stand. Here they can learn more about the range of high-pressure models available from Reavell and how these are benefitting customers across a wide range of sectors and applications.
About the water-cooled compressor
Commenting on the launch, Jason Currall, Marketing Manager at Reavell said, “The new compressor is the result of a large investment in product development and market research.
“By listening to our customers, particularly those working in challenging applications, we have been able to create a product suitable for the toughest of environments.
“The result is a robust, compact compressor with a small footprint. Offering maximum flexibility, it can be easily installed, even in confined spaces where space is at a premium.”
To minimise the risk of expensive breakdown and the logistics of scheduling repair, Reavell engineers carried out extensive testing to ensure the new unit could offer the durability and serviceability required.
Featuring easily accessible components and service points, the compressor ensures that routine maintenance can be carried out quickly and simply and that any downtime is kept to a minimum.
Capable of operating at up to 350bar (5000psi) and available with five-stage or four-stage compression, the unit offers a 5.3% saving on specific power when compared to an equivalent air-cooled machine.
Packages can be bespoke engineered, with comprehensive control and monitoring software to meet the exacting demands of many different applications and pressure requirements.
The Reavell team will be on hand throughout the show to discuss the new water-cooled compressor and the entire Reavell range. Visitors can also visit the three other Gardner Denver stands at the show which include the popular Hydrovane range of vane compressors, proven CompAir units and a dedicated oil-free technology area.
