John Condon was appointed Country Sales Director for Rockwell Automation in Ireland. The news comes as the company is experiencing growth across all aspects of the business has invested significantly in its customer services team to enhance its capabilities as an Industry 4.0 solutions partner.
“John is a great addition to the leadership team in the North Region,” said Susana Gonzalez, Regional Vice President North Region, Rockwell Automation. “He has a proven sales track record across several of our core industries. I am confident that he will help us continue bringing The Connected Enterprise to life in Ireland and expand our local partnerships.”
Bringing more than 17 years of experience to the role, Condon, whose most recent qualification is an executive MBA, completed while fulfilling a global role in process automation, is excited by the opportunity.
“Ultimately my role here is to grow the business in Ireland by continuing to nurture the deep and valuable relationships between Rockwell Automation and our customers here,” Condon said. “Ireland is home to many of the most recognised companies in the world. As the industrial sector undergoes a period of exciting change and possibility, I intend to bring the benefit of my global experience to our team and customers here and continue to build on the success of recent years.”
Before taking up his current role in Ireland, Condon has held numerous sales and strategic development roles at Emerson, Keyence and most recently, as a business development lead at CDE Global. Condon will be based at the Rockwell Automation Ireland headquarters in Swords Business Campus, Dublin.
