HIMA’s growing international business requires an integrated IT solution that effectively supports the Group’s worldwide processes spanning multiple locations and branches
HIMA, specialist in functional safety applications, opted for IFS Applications 9 software after evaluating various ERP system vendors. IFS Applications 9 will be used at HIMA as a central ERP system to unify the enterprise’s complex global business processes. The order placed with international ERP provider IFS includes licenses and services with a total value of about EUR 3.1 million.
“We were looking for a global solution with deep functionality for all of our branches, and IFS Applications 9 meets that need. Among other things, we are impressed by the intuitive user interface and high flexibility of the software,” said Stefan Hintenlang, Vice President Operations at HIMA. “The ERP system will help us enhance the transparency and continuity of our business processes, and it is an important component of our growth strategy.”
The new central ERP solution from IFS replaces numerous stand-alone systems. By providing comprehensive and integrated support for critical business processes, the software will make them more efficient and more productive. After completion of the rollout, the ERP solution will map HIMA’s entire value creation chain, from production planning and control through logistics to maintenance, financial management and HR, as well as service management and quality management.
“IFS Applications 9 is specifically designed to give global enterprises a clear view of their core processes,” said Peter Höhne, Vice President Sales & Marketing IFS Europe Central. “We are convinced that HIMA will benefit enormously from IFS’s support for their production, logistics and financial management activities.”
