Shell Chooses Verdermag Global Again

Listen to this article

Verdermag Global, the specialist pumping solutions supplier for the chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries, is pleased to work in partnership with its distributors to supply what their customers need, on time and on quality. Verdermag Global’s Norwegian distributor, Turoteknikk, has recently benefited from the company’s customer service when re-supplying an already long standing customer, Shell, on the Draugen Field Development. Anthony Beckwith, Global Product Manager explains:

“Shell had been using one of our centrifugal pumps previously and as they had been pleased with its performance for the last 16 years, when they needed a new one, they knew exactly what they wanted. We re-quoted for the system and as a result of our competitive quote and quick lead times we won the order once more.

“Verdermag Global is the perfect solution for Shell because it consists of metallic centrifugal, synchronous magnet-driven seal-less pumps. Magnetic driven pumps are ideally suited to modern and heavy duty requirements that multinational companies like Shell require. The UK oil and gas industry is Britain”s greatest industrial success story in the last 50 years providing three quarters of the UK’s primary energy, so it’s important to work with these industries to provide them with the solutions they need. Despite the fact Shell was an existing customer, we didn’t take anything for granted and did everything we could to help our distributor give them exactly what they were looking for.”
