SIEMENS INDUSTRY AUTOMATION & DRIVE TECHNOLOGIES (IA&DT) DIVISION STRENGTHENS SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM

Siemens IA&DT, part of the UK Industry Sector, has announced the appointment of two Divisional Directors, charged with leading future strategic direction and operational delivery across the industry automation & drive technologies businesses in the UK.

Reporting to the IA&DT managing director, Brian Holliday and Andrew Peters have been promoted to oversee the next stage of development for their respective areas of the IA&DT business.

Brian Holliday will take on specific responsibility for the Industry Automation division, with Andrew Peters assuming responsibility for Drive Technologies. The appointments are designed to drive synergies and complementary strategies across both business areas to support Siemens’ Power of One business strategy.

Brian Holliday, divisional director for Industry Automation, comments: “I am delighted to take up this new position within the IA&DT division and look forward to working closely with Andrew to continue to propel the Siemens business forward in the UK.  Our combined technological solutions for industry are already helping companies across many sectors meet current and future challenges.  Whether it is seeking out operational efficiencies, helping manufacturers satisfy legislative requirements around safety issues, or supporting the ongoing drive to find effective energy-related solutions, the breadth of IA&DT’s answers for industry is compelling and one that I look forward to supporting and developing further.”
