HRS has built a skid for evaporation and concentration of any fluid, be it food, chemical, industrial or effluent. This Evaporator is available for trials on a wide range of Evaporation applications.
The minimum volume required to run the trial is between 50 to 100 litres of product. The hold up volume for the plant is approximately 50 litres; therefore this is the final volume following evaporation and concentration.
The HRS Unicus scraped surface heat exchanger is the main component of this plant, where the water in the product is evaporated without any fouling in the heat exchanger. This is due to continuous scraping of the heat exchanger tube walls, avoiding any burning or fouling during evaporation.
