However, a widening gap exists between the skills necessary for IT/OT convergence and the training offered by traditional academic programs.

Professionals now need to equip themselves with hybrid skill sets that include technological proficiency, cybersecurity literacy and data analysis. This widening skills gap poses a significant risk to digital transformation programmes across a wide range of industries.
