Steam Equipment at BM Engineering Supplies (BME)

Listen to this article

Since launching in 1999, BM Engineering Supplies (BME) has grown to become one of the leading suppliers of Valves & steam equipment to the process industry in Scotland and around the UK. Boasting more than 40 years of combined experience in the valve industry, BME is an official supplier of Portuguese manufacturer, Valsteam ADCA, which is a leading exponent of steam equipment.

After launching their new online store BM Engineering Supplies has added a variety of steam equipment that are available to order online, with more products being added each month. The new steam equipment section of the store includes the following categories.

Included in these categories is the CTS4U Compact Trapping Station which is a stainless steel unit designed to replace traditional multi-component trapping arrangements. It offers a simplified and economical maintenance program for your site and remains in line to make the replacement of new traps easier and quicker via a two-bolt flange connector.

The steam traps can be replaced in minutes without the need for costly shutdowns or disturbing the pipework. The station is equipped with high-temperature tight shut-off isolation valves, a Y-type strainer, and a sprung check valve as standard, with the option of a double block and bleed arrangement on request.

The Adca FLT21 SG-Iron Float & Thermostatic Steam Trap is a reliable and efficient solution for modulating the discharge of condensate in various industrial applications. It features a sturdy SG-Iron body and cover, AISI-304 / 410 stainless steel trim, and an internal thermostatic air vent.

This steam trap is ideal for use in unit heaters, heat exchangers, dryers, jacketed vessels, and other applications where continuous discharge is necessary. By ensuring maximum system heat transfer, the FLT21 helps to ensure reliable and consistent performance.
