GEMÜ 654 with manual locking device
Looking for safe and robust manual diaphragm valves for use in sterile or hygienic applications? The GEMÜ 653/654 BioStar diaphragm valve has a stainless-steel bonnet and is available in two versions. The GEMÜ 653 with high temperature plastic handwheel and the 654 with a stainless steel handwheel to allow minimal heat sink for safe manual operation. The handwheel is available with an optional locking device (manual or magnetic) and/or proximity sensor options.
The valve is fitted with an optical position indicator, seal adjuster and stroke limiter as standard to prolong diaphragm life or the setting of chosen flowrates. The GEMÜ 653/654 is designed according to GMP, SIP/CIP and Autoclave capable, depending on the version with surface finishes down to 0.25 μm and electropolished options.
