Weighing up the advantages of using ERG

Not content with the recent acquisition of two new companies, Hazchem Waste Disposal and The Lamp Recycling Company both based in Guildford, ambitious and innovative Environmental Resource Group (ERG) have further invested in their fully functional head quarter facility. The installation of a bespoke weighbridge costing in excess of £50k and which required specialist installation to ensure its accuracy means that ERG can offer an expanded portfolio of services which now includes de-packing of bulk waste such as tankers and skips.

Aron James, ERG’s Chief Executive Officer stated, ‘We are constantly pushing the boundaries to ensure that we are pioneering the hazardous waste industry. ERG is ‘customer centric’ with our clients at the heart of our business. The introduction of the weighbridge means that we can better service blue chip corporates as well as the large bulk customers such as Biffa, Veolia and SITA. Our site in the Midlands has been further adapted to facilitate the offloading of vehicles under cover to keep deliveries dry. The new weighbridge enables us to provide customers with accurate measuring by weight rather than volume so they pay only for the true cost of their waste.’

James went on to say, ‘We like being different, for that read unique!
We have an open door policy at ERG and keen to share our best practice for the advancement of the whole hazardous waste industry. I understand that we are the only UK based company of our type that has a viewing gallery. Clients can sit in the comfort of our glazed viewing platform or log on to a secure camera from the convenience of their office and physically watch their waste being disposed of in real time.’

Customers stay loyal to the company for many reasons including their ‘can –do’ attitude and with their team of 13 field based account managers know that they and their waste needs will be met by ERG, the industry experts.
