VERSATILE NEW NETWORKERS ADDED TO WAGO RANGE
Designed to provide comprehensive and scalable network infrastructure solutions, WAGOs new 852 Series offers users a choice of products ranging from simple Ethernet switches up to configurable communication all-rounders.
The 852 Series includes an Ethernet switch featuring five or eight 10/100 Base TX parts as well as an 8-port switch equipped with two additional ports for SFP (Small Form Pluggable) modules used to connect fibre-optic cables. A configurable Ethernet switch featuring seven 10/100Base TX ports and two SFP 100Base-FX ports completes the range. Retrofittable modules, including interfaces for different optical fibres are available for both versions featuring SFP ports.
All modules have robust enclosures, redundant voltage supplies ranging from 9 to 48V and function monitoring with relay. Alarm functions are enabled via DIP switch. Features such as the auto-negotiation and auto-MDI/MDIX (crossover) on all 10/100Base TX ports as well as a store-and-forward switching mode are available. All devices are fully compliant with IEE802.3 and 802.3u standards.
The configurable version offers various settings, e.g. Xpress Ring. This allows the redundant ring to be configured which enables a reconfiguration in less than 50ms in the event of a primary link failure. Failures can be reported via e-mail.
