BinMaster Launches Ultrasonic Sensors Line – Now a Manufacturer of ToughSonic® Sensors
Key points
BinMaster® is proud to announce the launch of its new ToughSonic® TC-100 and TC-200 non-contact ultrasonic sensors. These advanced sensors, available in both general-purpose and chemical-resistant models, are capable of measuring distances up to 50 feet. They are designed for a wide range of applications, including tank level measurement, remote monitoring, distance ranging, object detection, and agricultural monitoring.
Durability and Performance
The ToughSonic® TS-100 series sensors are constructed with durable stainless steel and feature heavy-duty electronics that are epoxy-potted into type 316 stainless steel housings. These rugged sensors are equipped with permanently attached cables and robust piezoelectric transducers. The TS-100 series is available in 14’, 30’, and 50’ measurement ranges, making them versatile for various applications.
For applications requiring resistance to chemical exposure, the ToughSonic® TS-200 series sensors are constructed from chemical-resistant polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) plastic. This material ensures durability and resistance to degradation from chemicals. The TS-200 sensors feature heavy-duty electronics that are epoxy-potted into a chemical-resistant plastic housing, physically isolating the transducer and electronics from the target material. These sensors are available in 14’, 30’, and 35’ measurement ranges and are ideal for use in harsh environments.
Wide-Ranging Applications
ToughSonic® sensors are well-suited for applications requiring the detection of objects or distance ranging, such as conveyor load profiling. Their durable design also makes them essential for environmental monitoring, including water level measurements for irrigation, flood, tsunami, and sea level monitoring. These sensors have been widely adopted by municipal utilities across the globe for effective water and sewer monitoring.
BinMaster customers can now effortlessly manage their liquid and solid inventory with a single login to the BinCloud inventory management software. These compact, high-performance sensors integrate smoothly into all BinMaster real-time inventory and level monitoring systems, providing improved visibility and control over inventory.

About us
BinMaster/Garner Industries is located in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA.
Operations that struggle with the challenges of inventory management and timely replenishment of all types of powders, bulk solids, or liquids can monitor silo levels on their smartphone, tablet, or desktop with complete solutions from BinMaster. A complete suite of continuous level sensors, point level indicators, material management, and inventory monitoring devices and software simplifies material management while keeping people safe from the risks of climbing silos.
The Lincoln Nebraska, USA company manufactures sensors and software used for monitoring levels in bins, tanks, silos, chutes, and hoppers. Continuous level measurement options include SmartBob cable-based, guided wave radar, laser and 80 GHz non-contact radar, which are all compatible with Binventory™ software. Battery-powered, wireless laser level sensors are compatible with BinView® or FeedView® web apps for remote monitoring.
The unique 3DLevelScanner measures and maps material for volume accuracy and is the only sensor to generate a 3D image of silo contents. BinMaster is the exclusive worldwide supplier of this unique technology and has commissioned these sensors in bins containing powders and solids for over a decade.
Point level indicators provide automated level alerts using rotaries, diaphragm switches, capacitance probes, tilt switches, and vibrating rod level sensors. Dust detection devices alert to baghouse leaks and unsafe particulate levels. Flow detection sensors prevent cross contamination and assist with FSMA compliance for human and animal feeds. Aeration devices keep powders and solids flowing so they don’t pack in hoppers, along bin walls, or in the cone of the vessel
Robust, custom systems can be developed for a single site or networked for every bin, tank, and silo across a multi‐national operation. Add Stockpile Reports for pile inventory using images from an iPhone or drone to a SaaS dashboard. Monitor livestock feed inventory from a phone, tablet, or PC with the FeedView® web application.
BinMaster is US manufacturer certified to ISO 9001 quality management systems – requirements. For more information about BinMaster, visit www.binmaster.com.
