Essentra Appointed as Financial Times Employer of Choice
Essentra Components, a worldwide industry leader in the production of essential components and solutions, has been appointed one of the UK's Best Employers by the Financial Times.
Essentra has been voted as a top UK employer, a designation which assesses organisations on working conditions, pay, training opportunities, and company image.
The Financial Times and Statista conducted a survey of 20,000 employees in the UK and asked them to rate their employers on various issues in the workplace. Essentra was among the most recommended employers in the UK.
Potentially qualified companies were identified and ranked based on a number of sources, including industry publications, trade associations, and peer recommendations. Full- and part-time staff from selected companies were next invited to complete an anonymous questionnaire regarding their company, assisting in determining the general rank for each company.
Scott Fawcett, Essentra Chief Executive Officer, commented: “This is a fantastic achievement because it is our people who make the difference, enabling us to provide a friendly and hassle-free service to our customers, both in the UK and in our global operations. We aim to create a safe, supportive and stimulating place to work, which values equality and celebrates diversity.”
Emma Reid, Company Secretary, stated: “One of the ESG pillars that we have is our culture, so being recognized as one of the UK's Best Employers is the journey we're embarking on to achieve a more diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace. It also protects that we attract, recruit, train and retain talent through our business.“.
