Beamex Strengthens Leadership with Strategic Sales & Operations Appointments
Beamex is delighted to announce the appointment of two highly experienced industry experts to the Beamex Group leadership team. Mika Niemi joined as Operations Director towards the end of 2024 and Antti Koivisto took up his new role as Senior Vice President of Sales at the beginning of March 2025.
These appointments demonstrate Beamex's commitment to delivering even greater value to customers and its relentless pursuit of operational excellence and customer-driven growth.
The opportunity to take up these new positions and be part of the leadership team arose after the outgoing incumbents indicated a desire to seek new challenges within the business. Retired Operations Director Jukka Syrjä relocated to the USA to join the leadership team at Beamex USA and Alex Maxfield, who had managed Beamex Group Sales for the past decade, became Head of Direct Sales.
Consistent with Beamex's approach, the business was able to pair Jukka and Alex's aspirations with jobs good for Beamex as a company and for them as skilled business professionals.
Antti has sales and business management experience of 20 years within strategic key account management, international business leadership – strategic and management of customer value. As the SVP Sales, he provides a significant role on the executive team executing company strategy and directing all of Beamex' selling activities.
Antti will direct global selling activities in Beamex through direct selling and indirect channels generating revenues. Two of his highest priorities will be to work on the Beamex sales strategy and improve customer interaction.
Mika, as Operations Director, is responsible for all operations at Beamex. He will focus on streamlining Beamex operations for maximum efficiency and on maximising the company's manufacturing and calibration services in an effort to boost revenue on an international scale.
Mika's role also involves sourcing and logistics, where his task is to streamline it and provide customers with faster and more reliable service. Mika brings a lot of operational, sales and R&D experience and has a background to establish his leadership skills.
“Both Antti and Mika bring a vast amount of valuable knowledge and experience to the leadership team,” says Beamex CEO Jan-Henrik Svensson. “Under Mika’s guidance we are seeking to streamline processes, improve resource allocation, and enhance overall efficiency, allowing Beamex to respond more effectively to market demands and providing a good base for future growth. Antti brings fresh strategies to boost revenue, expand market reach, and improve customer relationships, with the aim of increasing sales, driving market share, and improving our competitive positioning. With these strategic appointments, Beamex is well positioned to further elevate the customer experience, strengthen its market presence, and achieve long-term growth.”
