Once defined by its dry deserts, the Kingdom has shattered expectations through pioneering leadership, strategic investments, and state-of-the-art technologies. Today, it stands as a global model for water security, sustainable water management, and environmental responsibility.
Under the watchful eye of the Saudi Water Authority, Saudi Arabia has ramped up its water production to over 15 million cubic meters a day, thanks to a collaborative effort between the public and private sectors. This impressive output showcases top-notch efficiency in energy use, capital investment, and operational costs. Water flows through a sophisticated network stretching over 14,000 kilometers, developed in partnership with the Water Transmission Company (WTCO) and private sector allies, and is distributed via more than 135,000 kilometers of pipelines, reaching both urban and rural communities.
