Watson-Marlow to showcase Bredel CIP pump and next-generation fluid handling at PPMA 2025
Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions (WMFTS) will unveil the latest Bredel CIP pump and its portfolio of next-generation fluid management technologies at PPMA 2025, held at the NEC Birmingham from 23–25 September.
New Bredel CIP pump for hygienic use
Individuals who stop by Stand E102 can find out more about the Bredel CIP, an efficient, sanitary-process pump that includes a new rotor. With the Bredel CIP, companies can ensure the required CIP velocities required in many different brewing processes.
The pump features retractable shoes that open the hose wide automatically for CIP fluid flow at the right velocity required for effective cleaning. Retracting the shoes during cleaning eliminates hose compressions at heat, lengthening hose life and reducing replacement expenses. Perfect for food and beverage manufacturers, Bredel CIP is ideal for brewing as well as processing products such as fruit purée.
Peristaltic and sinusoidal pumps for long-lasting performance
WMFTS will also display its sinusoidal and peristaltic pumps, which are aimed at enhancing efficiency, product quality and saving energy in the key process industries.
MasoSine Certa Sine® pump delivers high output without sacrificing yield and is ideally suited for food and beverage, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and cosmetics manufacturing. Its single-shaft, single-seal configuration achieves much greater energy efficiency than traditional positive displacement pumps.
Certa is among the handful of EHEDG Type EL Aseptic Class I-certified pumps, which verifies its aseptic process fit with bacteria-tight construction. Easy to clean and designed to process viscous fluids gently, Certa is all about maintaining hygiene and product quality.
Precision peristaltic solutions
The Watson-Marlow peristaltic pump range will also be on show, engineered for high accuracy fluid handling to accuracies up to ±0.5. Closed fluid path ensures absolute product isolation throughout transfer, filling and filtration, reducing risk of contamination and allowing for sterile manufacture.
The pumps offer the cultivated protein industry scalability, sterility and virtually zero maintenance without the need for hard piping.
The Qdos® range of chemical dosing pumps will also feature, such as the Qdos H-FLO for flow rates of up to 600 L/hr. The Qdos pumps eliminate ancillary equipment and offer flow rates from 0.1 mL/min to 120 L/hr at pressures of up to 9 bar, with ±1% accuracy and ±0.5% repeatability. Such accuracy saves chemicals, minimizes waste and cuts emissions linked to chemical deliveries.
Other technologies on display
Additional product offerings at the WMFTS booth include:
- Flexicon PF7+ bench-scale peristaltic dispensing pump – for GMP and cleanroom use to deliver aseptic filling without cross-contamination.
- Flexicon Flexfeed 30 (FF30) – bottle handling and capping unit for automatic bottle filling up to 50 mm diameter.
- Aflex PTFE flexible hoses – high purity, premium hoses offering exceptional kink resistance. The Aflex FaBLINE hose is chemically resistant and food-grade and can be tailored to deliver high levels of hygiene requirements.

About us
Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group (WMFTG) peristaltic tube and hose pumps meet requirements including: value for money; low cost of ownership; reliability and ease of maintenance to the food and beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, mining and many other industries.
We demonstrate how pumps deliver significant process efficiencies over the lifetime of the equipment. Whether performing flavouring addition in food processing, chemical metering in water treatment or mineral recovery, we have a solution which can cut pump downtime and reduce costs through higher accuracy metering and transfer. WMFTG has dedicated application engineers available to help customers make the right pump and tubing choice from a range providing microlitres per minute to 80 cubic metres per hour flow rates.
The only part of the pump to come into contact with the product is the tube or hose. This means there are no seals or valves that can wear or fail. Replacing the tube or hose can be performed quickly and safely. Peristaltic pump benefits include:
Total fluid containment with no seals No ancillaries Handle viscous and abrasive slurries and sludge Self-priming capability Dry running without damage to the pump In addition to their range of positive displacement pumps, Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group has added PTFE-lined chemical and industrial hoses to their range. Aflex hoses are reinforced to withstand the most severe conditions and use.
