New Screw Augers Enhance Performance at AMG Chrome
Ajax Equipment, a specialist in solids handling equipment, has recently supplied AMG Chrome, a provider of specialty metals and alloys, with two new screw augers for their Ajax screw feeder at the Rotherham manufacturing facility in the UK.
These new augers were part of a system upgrade, replacing components that had been in use for nearly 20 years. This enhancement ensures that AMG Chrome can maintain reliability and performance in their bulk handling operations.
Michael Channer, Project Manager at AMG Chrome, shared his thoughts on the project:
“We recently acquired two new screw augers from Ajax during our system refurbishment, and the whole experience was fantastic. From the moment we reached out for replacement parts, the team was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, addressing all our queries and guiding us to the best options for our needs. The augers are made to a very high standard, showcasing Ajax’s dedication to producing durable and reliable equipment. We wholeheartedly recommend Ajax to anyone in need of top-notch bulk handling solutions and are excited to collaborate with them again in the future.”
Eddie McGee, Managing Director at Ajax Equipment, also commented:
“Every material comes with its own set of challenges. For instance, metal powders can be quite abrasive. At Ajax, we work closely with each customer, conducting bulk material testing to create a customized design that ensures reliable, long-term performance.”
