AkzoNobel launches My Interpon Portal in Mexico alongside new ready to ship Interpon range

Listen to this article

AkzoNobel Powder Coatings has launched My Interpon Portal (MIP) in Mexico introducing a digital platform that gives customers fast direct access to products, information, and ordering now combined with a dedicated Interpon Ready to Ship (RTS) range for the Mexican market.

The launch reflects growing demand across the global process and manufacturing industries for faster procurement simplified workflows and reliable supply chains. By integrating 24/7 digital ordering with immediate product availability AkzoNobel is addressing key operational pressures faced by manufacturers, fabricators, and applicators who require efficiency and consistency in their coating processes.

My Interpon Portal goes beyond a traditional webshop. It acts as a centralised digital hub where customers can search and compare Interpon powder coatings access detailed technical data sheets and visualise finishes using an advanced 3D colour tool. This functionality supports better decision-making during specification and procurement particularly for industrial coating applications and architectural projects where finish and performance are critical.

The platform also streamlines day-to-day operations. Customers can place orders reorder frequently used products track deliveries and manage invoices all within a single interface. This level of integration helps reduce administrative burden improve procurement efficiency and enhance visibility across the supply chain which is increasingly important for UK and European manufacturers looking to digitise operations and improve productivity.

Supporting the platform is the new Interpon RTS range in Mexico. This is a focused portfolio of 54 high demand products available from stock for delivery within two to three business days. The range includes key powder coating technologies such as polyesters superdurable systems, hybrids, primers and functional coatings used across general industrial and architectural applications.

The RTS offering is designed to support faster turnaround times and minimise downtime in production environments. By ensuring that commonly used coatings are readily available AkzoNobel enables customers to maintain continuity in their operations while responding quickly to changing project requirements or customer demand.

The range also includes advanced solutions such as Interpon Redox corrosion protection and low-energy cure systems alongside coatings developed for exterior durability. These technologies are particularly relevant for sectors including construction, infrastructure, transport, and general manufacturing where long-term performance and resistance to environmental conditions are essential.

Sustainability remains a key focus. All Interpon powder coatings are free from volatile organic compounds VOCs and generate minimal waste. This supports manufacturers in reducing environmental impact and aligning with increasingly stringent environmental regulations and sustainability targets across the UK and wider European markets. Powder coatings also contribute to improved energy efficiency especially when combined with low cure technologies that reduce processing temperatures.

By combining digital access with ready-to-ship availability AkzoNobel enables customers to respond faster to demand reduce downtime and streamline procurement.

This approach aligns with broader trends in industrial digitalisation, where connected platforms and real-time data are transforming how materials are sourced, specified and managed.

Customers are increasingly looking for speed, simplicity and reliability in how they order powder coatings,” says Baron Schreuder Regional Commercial Director AkzoNobel Powder Coatings North America. “With My Interpon Portal and our ready to ship range now available in Mexico, we’re giving them greater visibility, control and immediate access to the products they need.”

The introduction of My Interpon Portal and the RTS range highlights AkzoNobel’s continued investment in digital tools and supply chain innovation. As manufacturers across sectors prioritise operational efficiency, resilience, and sustainability solutions such as this are set to play an increasingly important role in supporting modern industrial processes.
