FARLEYGREENE LAUNCH ‘NEW’ LOW COST SACKTIP SIEVING UNIT.
With check screening of powders & ingredients being of prime importance for the food and pharmaceutical industries, in fact any company processing dry ingredients, Farleygreene have launched a new addition to their range of sacktip stations.
When processing powders companies must ensure the quality of the ingredient being introduced into the process line, whether from a container, sack or scoop the risk of any unwanted inclusions are of paramount importance to the reputation of the processor. The other consideration should be that the operator dispensing the ingredient is safeguarded from any airborne dust whilst decanting the materials into the sieve unit.
Taking all these factors into account, along with budgetary constraints Farleygreene have added the ‘Sievmaster 50-3 in 1’ unit to the already successful ‘Sievmaster Easilift Station’. The ‘Easilift’ unit is designed to handle throughputs in excess of 1000kg/hr, with the bonus of a power lift hood over the sieve allowing for ergonomic, safe single operator use, both in sieving mode and when requiring cleaning. This unit is also designed to couple with all types of convey systems, mechanical and pneumatic.
The ‘SM 50-3 in 1’ unit bridges the gap between the’Sievmaster 500-S’ Bakery sieve and the ‘Easilift unit’. Aimed at users who process 500 – 900 kg/hr* the new unit utilises the ‘SM500-S’ check sieving unit and incorporates a dusthood with sack rest table all fitted to a mobile frame. The whole unit is manufactured from stainless steel and is supplied to ATEX Zone 22 as standard.
All these features come at a cost of less than five thousand pounds. It can also be supplied with underscreen magnets and a dedicated dust extraction unit.
