Foreign Body Detection (FBD) specialists Eclipse Magnetics have entered the vibratory ingredient sieve market with the launch of two new compact sieves.
The sieves – one with a 450mm diameter screen, the other 600mm – have metal detectable seals, and an (optional) integral grid magnet to ensure your product has maximum protection from ferrous and other contamination. Contamination that results from wear or damage to the austenitic stainless steel wire mesh screens or from product/ingredients added is removed by the high-intensity rare earth magnetic grid. Construction is from highly-polished 316 stainless steel throughout. The sieves are mounted within a wheeled trolley, with a detachable power cord, for ease of movement and mobility.
The sieves are an addition to the Eclipse Magnetics magnetic separation and metal detection range. This means the Sheffield based company can offer a full turnkey ‘Foreign Body Detection’ and removal service for the food, pharmaceutical and chemical processing industries as well as almost all other types of process lines and products.
The company has ATEX ‘type’ approval so sieves, and magnetic separation units, can be supplied fully ATEX certified direct from the factory, without the need for external third party accreditation bodies, cutting lead times and costs.
