Grundfos’ Duncan Cooper heads for pastures new

After another successful year in 2015, Duncan Cooper has decided that it is time to re-focus and has therefore elected to put his impressive levels of energy into something else other than running core parts of Grundfos’ business. Accordingly, Duncan will leave Grundfos at the end of June.

Duncan started his tenure with Grundfos in August 1997, when he was employed as Managing Director for the UK business. From the earliest days, he demonstrated his problem solving abilities this led to his taking on additional challenges when presented with increasingly senior roles.

These have included Regional Managing Director for NEREG (North Europe and Africa) in 2003. Then in 2008, he was appointed Regional Managing Director WEREG (Western Europe) and finally in 2013, he accepted his current position as Regional Managing Director of the Americas and Managing Director Grundfos Pumps Corporation.

Everyone who has met and worked with Duncan knows that his determination and willingness to follow through and to make things happen are unparalleled. A truly inspirational character Duncan, with his high levels of business insight has been an inspiration not only to his staff and colleagues, but also to customers. In short, he will be missed.
