Reg Wade held the position of Managing Director at Grundfos Pumps Ltd for ten years commencing in 1987. With a BSc in Engineering and a background in the heating industry, Reg brought an exuberant personality as well as a wealth of experience to the role.
At 6’3” he was an imposing figure who steered the business through a time which saw many product introductions and was the start of a new era of innovation with electronics being incorporated into pumps for the first time. During his tenure, the turnover of the business doubled.

Those who worked alongside him still very fondly remember him. They speak of his sense of humour, love of cricket and fascination of all things engineering including trains, as just a few of the personal attributes that made him who he was.
He died in February 2017 and the Grundfos team extend their sympathy to his wife Jane and his family.
