John Crane has signed a major dry gas seal repair services agreement with Brazilian energy company Petrobras that will be worth US$ 5,000,000 to the company over the next three years. The deal covers the repair of dry gas seals used on both upstream and gas transportation duties at various Petrobras facilities in Brazil, plus the supply of spares.

The new agreement greatly simplifies the approval process which previously surrounded a large number of dry gas seals installed at various Petrobras offshore platforms and gas transportation facilities in Brazil.
