Hosokawa Micron Ltd is proud to announce the accreditation of their contract processing suite to BRC Global Standard for Food Safety Version 6, making them one of the first milling and classification contract processors to achieve this audit level which was introduced in January 2012.
Hosokawa Micron’s recently upgraded food processing suite is devoted solely to food products and is available for customers looking to outsource particle and powder processing in lots from a few kilos to several tonnes. The Grade A certification in ‘the receipt, milling/size reduction/mixing, packing, testing and storage of dry food products/ingredients for the food industry, is a clear indicator of the GMP proficiencies at the facility.
The contract processing facility at Hosokawa Micron’s Runcorn site is able to handle processing of a wide variety of food products from single process to complete multi processing solutions involving milling, micronising, mixing, classification, agglomeration and packing. Accessibility of this range of contract processing options means that customers who use the Hosokawa Micron facility do not need to go through the rigorous and potentially costly Food Standard audit themselves.
