Key pneumatic and fluid control innovations for the oil, gas and chemicals sector on show at AOG 2014
Norgren, an international market leader in pneumatic and fluid control technology, will promote its key innovations for the oil, gas and chemicals sector on stand i33 at this year’s Australasian Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference (AOG).
Held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre in Western Australia, the event runs from 19-21 February and will be attended by industry stakeholders and representatives of market-leading companies from Australia, Asia and beyond.
Norgren’s stand will give visitors an in-depth look at the innovative technology behind its acclaimed products for the energy sector, including Redundant Valve Manifold (RVM) systems, stainless steel filtration systems and the Maxseal range of solenoid valves.
The RVM product range offers customers a single, fully SIL certified, compact modular package that combines valves and pipes, eliminating the need to create separate systems.
Norgren designed RVM to replace piped or ‘nippled’ systems in order to provide users with the best of safety and availability. Each integrated valve control unit easily adapts to customers’ needs with aluminium and stainless steel variations suitable for both upstream and downstream applications. Norgren RVM systems also significantly reduce potential leaks, while there is no interruption in processing when installing, servicing or replacing a valve.
For systems operating in a remote location, RVM systems offer the advantage of on-line control with a bypass function enabling on-line valve removal. Users have cited simple installation and low maintenance as key benefits of the product line as well.
As well as the RVM product range, Norgren will be showcasing its high-quality Maxseal stainless steel solenoid valves, designed and manufactured with reliability and integrity in mind. Maxseal valves have been well known for exceptional performance in all environments all over the globe for over 50 years.
Norgren will also be displaying its stainless steel filtration systems, which are designed to remove water, particles and oil aerosols from hydrocarbon gas or air. They are constructed from 316 stainless steel, which strengthens the resistance to sulphide stress cracking and discolouration which is often found in corrosive environments. The design has led to production gains for many of its customers thanks to its improved filtration and reduction in contamination, especially with positioner applications.
Dave Rusby, Australasia Sales Manager – Energy Sector at Norgren, commented: “We are looking forward to exhibiting at AOG 2014. It is a great opportunity for us to display the advantages of our innovative technology to a very diverse and multinational group of potential users. The show is a key one in the calendar and we are excited to be a part of it.
“The RVM and Maxseal range offer unique benefits that save costs and provide sustainable solutions for users, and we anticipate strong interest from visitors to the event.”
