Leading safety and risk management consultancy GexCon has appointed a new risk engineer to join its expanding team.

Pablo Giacopinelli takes up his post as a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) risk engineer as the company goes from strength to strength.

The company recently opened a London office as it grows its range of diverse specialist services  in identifying hazards, mitigating risks and contributing to improving clients’ safety performance with a tailor-made approach as well as providing training across its range of services.

Pablo joins the organisation at its Ormskirk office after gaining a Masters from the University of Manchester in aerospace engineering. He previously worked as a research engineer at the Institute of Fluid Mechanics and Engineering Acoustics in Berlin and as an engineer at the CFD Group National University of La Plata in Argentina.

He said: “This is an exciting time for myself and for GexCon so I look forward to a successful time with the team as it develops and grows its services across the UK and in Europe.”

GexCon also recently completed the Investors In People process which measures the performance of its business and people across a diverse set of disciplines.

GexCon provides services in identifying hazards, mitigating risks and contributing to improving clients’ safety performance with a tailor-made and individual approach as well as providing training across its range of services in the fire, explosion, process safety, oil and gas and related sectors.
