Two new service engineers have been appointed by AUMA Actuators Ltd. Steve Adams and Bill Armsden, both with strong engineering backgrounds, join the national UK field service team of the established supplier of modular electric actuators.
Steve Adams takes the post of AUMA UK Service Engineer for the South West. Previous experience includes plant servicing and mains construction for a water company, commercial electrics and he also has a track record as a traffic signals engineer. Having previously worked for a German organisation, he welcomes the opportunity to work for AUMA UK which has a German parent company and strong cultural brand values of quality, delivery, customer support and service.
Bill Armsden has been recruited to the position of AUMA UK Service Engineer for the Midlands with a territory that encompasses Yorkshire and East Anglia. Bill previously worked for over four years for a valve company as a head fitter. In addition to his pneumatic/ hydraulic actuator and valve experience he has qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
The latest appointments by AUMA UK reinforce the company’s strong service offer which includes an in-house repair and field service team. AUMA UK also offer the ACE (AUMA Certified Engineering) Technician Certification Scheme, a training and accreditation programme encompassing three levels. ACE Technician level 1 is aimed at in-house valve technicians, level 2 is designed for on-site installation and service activities, level 3 provides the highest level of qualification for those involved in communications protocols and systems integration.
