Atlas Copco Compressors launches scrappage scheme offering £2k towards cost of new equipment
With the UK car scrappage scheme deemed to be an unmitigated success, Atlas Copco Compressors has extended the idea into the compressed air arena so that it is not just car owners that benefit when the time comes for equipment replacement. The company has launched the Atlas Copco Compressors Scrappage Scheme, whereby any compressor that is five years old or more, regardless of model or manufacturer, could be worth up to £2,000 against the purchase of new Atlas Copco compressed air equipment.
Speaking about the introduction of the scheme, Leen Van Diggele, Managing Director of Atlas Copco Compressors UK said, “We believe this to be the biggest, most generous scheme of its type in our industry. Using the scheme not only saves a significant amount of capital expenditure on the acquisition of new and more energy-efficient equipment, but offers the potential benefit of substantial savings in running costs,.
Thanks to Atlas Copco’s continuous investment in the research and development of advanced compressed air solutions it has the largest range of piston, scroll and screw compressors on the market together with VSD machines offering energy savings of up to 35%.
Those interested in participating in the scheme are invited to contact the company for an estimate of the trade-in value of existing equipment – with the reminder that the larger the capacity of the traded-in compressor, the better is its scrap value.
Details of the scheme and a non-obligation trade-in estimate are available by calling Atlas Copco on: 0800 181085.
The scrappage scheme offer closes on 30th June 2010.
