Holger Schmidt

Holger Schmidt is Global Industry Manager Food and Beverage at Mettler-Toledo Process Analytic. With more than 34 years of experience in food and beverage processes, he has specialised in the integration of machinery, components and automation systems. Holger has been actively involved with EHEDG since 2002, serving as a former Advisory Board Member, leader of Working Group 37 on hygienic process sensors, and President of the Swiss Section. A trained Brewer and Maltster and graduate Brew Master, he has held senior roles across sales and project management in Europe and Asia Pacific. He is also co-author of publications on hygienic design, including Hygienic Design of Food Factories (Elsevier, 2nd edition).
