AxFlow reports record year of growth
AxFlow UK Limited has announced that sales increased in 2011 by 15% over 2010, touching the £12 million mark for the first time. This was the seventh consecutive year of growth for the nationwide pump distributor and systems supplier.
“We have had success in many market sectors across a very large customer base,” comments managing director Tony Peters, “and in this sustained period of economic gloom and uncertainty this performance has been remarkable. Our service and repair business has again shown significant growth and our ability to manufacture systems as well as supply pump-sets have opened up new opportunities to use our problem-solving skills set.”
Investment in a new Service Base in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham and the acquisition of Thames Valley Pumps in Windsor, Berkshire has demonstrated AxFlow’s determination to spread its service and repair businesses throughout Great Britain and create new opportunities. Today, AxFlow has operating bases in Aberdeen, Durham, Huddersfield, Windsor and Ealing.
“At every step AxFlow seeks to offer its customers the very best support, with our professional engineers giving face-to-face local contact,” continues Tony Peters. “It is inevitable that in 2012 the depressed economy will present us all with many challenges. However, plans are already at an advanced stage to develop further our range of services and fluid handling technologies, and we remain focused on making the AxFlow pump supply and service offering second-to-none.”
