Beamex shortlisted for Technical Innovation at the 2021 Hazardex Awards
For its MC6-Ex Calibrator
The Technical Innovation category is awarded to an innovative product or system for use in hazardous area environments. Beamex MC6-Ex Calibrator is ATEX, IECEx and North American certified and is designed for use in potentially explosive environments, such as offshore and on-shore oil and gas platforms, oil refineries, chemical and petrochemical plants where flammable gases may be present. It can also be used in the pharmaceutical industry, within energy production and gas processing industry.
The MC6-Ex is an advanced, high-accuracy calibrator and communicator with outstanding functionality. It is a documenting, multifunction calibrator and communicator that offers calibration capabilities for pressure, temperature, and various electrical signals.
It also contains a fieldbus communicator for HART, FOUNDATION Fieldbus and Profibus PA instruments. MC6-Ex can also be used with CMX or LOGiCAL Calibration Management software for paperless and digitalised documenting of all calibration work. Learn more about Beamex MC6-Ex.

The Hazardex Awards programme has long been a benchmark for those supplying products, services and systems within hazardous areas. A total of 20 nominees have been shortlisted across four categories for the Hazardex 2021 Awards, designed to recognise excellence in the hazardous area sector. The winners will be announced at the Hazardex 2021 Conference and Exhibition Gala Awards dinner on 6th October 2021.
The annual Hazardex International Conference and Exhibition is widely recognised as the most important global event specific to hazardous area operations across all major industries. The event brings together the international process safety community on an annual basis to review best practice and the latest research in those areas key to managing process safety effectively.
