Burkert Hygienic Solutions To Clean Up At EHEDG Conference 2018
Professionals operating in hygienic sectors will be able to meet with Burkert at this year’s European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group (EHEDG) Conference in London from the 21st – 22nd November, with the business demonstrating EHEDG approved solutions for food and beverage applications.
The bi-annual exhibition will be held at the ExCeL Exhibition Centre in London’s Docklands, where Burkert, Gold Sponsors for the event, will be found in the Platinum Suite on Stand P9 throughout the show along with 800 other exhibitors.
Centre stage in Burkert’s offering will be the innovative Type 8098 FLOWave flowmeter, which offers contactless, precision flow measurement, even in liquids with low or no conductivity.
It’s compact design, excellent cleanability and compatibility with digital communication protocols, ensures it is suitable for process control projects with the highest hygienic standards.
Also on the stand will be Burkert’s innovative hydroformed tube valve body which is electro-polished and offers cleanability that is comparable with that of stainless steel process pipework.
This latest design is as much as 75% lighter than forged housings, reducing the energy requirement for heating and cooling during the cleaning process. Experts will be on hand to discuss the benefits of this and other valve body designs.
Another highlight will be the EHEDG-compliant ELEMENT valve control system, offering high IP protection for washdown-intensive and wet applications in the food and beverage industry, such as those found in breweries. Innovative features also include a fully integrated control air supply with spring chamber ventilation and exceptional chemical resistance.
Attendees will have the chance to talk to Burkert experts including Marc Kingler, Teamcoach for Hygienic Application Management; Mark Lilley, Field Segment Manager for Hygienic Food & Beverage and Ian Webster, Field Segment Manager for Hygienic Pharmaceutical.
Visitors will be able to benefit from decades of combined industry and application experience to help define an exact solution for specific hygienic application challenges.
