Shown at Hazard Ex 2010 was the Yodalex range of high performance Manual Call Points from Clifford & Snell which further extends the company’s selection of Hazardous Area products.

Designed in accordance with EN54-11 and offering ATEX, IECEx & GOST-R Approval for both gas and dust, this range has been designed for use within harsh environments such as the petrochemical industry as well as the oil & gas sectors where safety, quality and reliability are an essential part of the operational process.

Developed using corrosion-resistant glass-reinforced polyester (GRP) materials, the Exd flameproof enclosure features high-tolerance machined flame paths constructed to withstand extreme pressures. These lightweight devices feature both Break Glass and Push Button options and are finished in red high-performance paint.

Other features include IP66 Ingress Protection rating with a Certified operational temperature range of -55oC to +70oC and a dual M20 cable gland entry, fitted with a single certified stopping plug as standard.
An LED model is also available and an optional Lift Flap on the BG version is offered which is standard on the PB version. The BG version also provides key-operated test facilities. All fixings are stainless steel.
