Compact Reverse Acting Bursting Disc
Many critical applications in chemical, process and vacuum technologies, aerospace, pharmaceutical, cryogenic industries, nuclear, research and technologies require specific bursting discs for easy and torque-independent installation.
The IG-UKB-LS bursting disc combines the most versatile customer demands: Compact, a space-saving design, free and flexible selection of connections, torque-independent installation. The sterile process surface of the bursting disc provides high pressure and back pressure resistance, helium tested leak-tight integrity and even in case of lowest burst pressures a full metal design.
It is the perfect bursting disc for vacuum, UHV and cryogenic (e. g. liquid helium-/nitrogen) applications.
The reverse acting bursting disc is welded into a customised housing using the latest laser welding technologies. Even for lowest burst pressures leak-tight integrity is achieved and certified.
The installation is time-saving done without costly pre-assembly. Already minimum gas cushions generate the required reverse dynamic necessary to enable disc reversal and actuation.
Customer specified materials include; stainless steel, Nickel, Inconel, Monel, Hastelloy and Titanium, all of which are available ex stock.
