Efficient Wastewater & Clean Water Pumps On Show At Pump Centre Conference 2017
Xylem, a global water technology leader, will be showcasing a range of wastewater and clean water pumps at this year’s Pump Centre Conference and Exhibition.
The renowned Pump Centre Conference is returning to the Telford International Centre on Thursday 11th May and this year’s technical theme has been confirmed as ‘Energy Efficiency’.
With a focus on highly productive and efficient pumping solutions, visitors to the Xylem stand G3will be able to explore a variety of Xylem’s Flygt and Lowara technologies, from variable speed drives through to end-suction pumps and monitoring systems, all of which have been developed with energy efficiency, longevity and low lifecycle costs in mind.
From the Flygt brand, Xylem will be showcasing new technology in the form of the ground breaking Flygt Concertor – the world’s first wastewater pumping system with integrated intelligence.
Not only does this pumping system provide operators with real time feedback, it also has built-in capabilities to adapt to different duty points, automatically adjusting its performance to cope with the changing conditions.
Combined with blockage avoidance protocol, self-learning energy minimising functionality, sump and rising main cleaning function the Flygt Concertor pumping system can save users up to 80 percent in energy use.
In addition, for those looking for in-line, multi-stage and end-suction pumps, a variety of products from the Lowara e-series range will also be on display. Offering increased reliability and improved energy savings, the stand will feature the streamlined e-SH, e-NSC, e-MP and the e-SV pumps which, when combined with the newly launched Hydrovar 5th generation variable speed drive, can offer energy savings of up to 70 per cent. Known for its robust and quality design, Hydrovar is now available across 21 models ranging from 1.5kW, 1 phase to 22kW, 3 phase.
Also being showcased at the event is the new Flygt PumpSmart PS220 variable frequency drive will also be on display – developed with its own unique proprietary software for driving wastewater pumps and regulating flow speed.
If that wasn’t enough, visitors to the stand will also have the opportunity to get hands-on experience with two state-of-the-art intelligent control systems, Flygt SmartRun and Flygt MultiSmart. Working to monitor energy consumption and performance, these systems give operators complete visibility over their pumps efficiency.
Andrew Barry, General Manager GC Transport at Xylem commented: “We’re thrilled to be returning to the highly anticipated Pump Centre Conference this year. With Pump Centre membership at an all-time high, this event gives us the opportunity to showcase our expanding portfolio of products and innovations to nearly 1000 visitors in only one day. We look forward to seeing everyone there and welcoming them to our stand.”
