Future-Proof Instrumentation for Resilient Water Networks – See VEGA at ESS Expo
Key points
VEGA will be attending the ESS Expo this year on 17–18 September at the NEC Birmingham in the WWEM area. Drop by stand WW-P50 to see the new level and pressure instrumentation aimed at the water and wastewater sector.
We will be featuring low profile radar sensors and high pressure transmitters catering to key applications like MCERTS flow and EDM, CSO and sewer level monitoring, sludge processing, digester level control and burst pipe or leakage detection—industry priorities as the industry grapples with the challenges of AMP8.
Triple-Certified, Fully Versatile Low Profile Radars
Our VEGAPULS smart low profile radar level transmitters now come with three significant certifications:
- MCERTS Class 1 – for regulatory flow measurement (VEGAPULS C21 C22 21 31)
- WRAS approval – for use in potable water supply systems (VEGAPULS C21 C22 C23 21 31)
- Ex ia ATEX – for safe operation in potentially explosive environments (VEGAPULS C21 C22 C23 21 31)
These contact-free loop-powered sensors are easy to install, require no ongoing maintenance and deliver consistent performance under hostile conditions like condensation formation or turbulence. Controllers can also be provided as an option for increased system flexibility.
Pressure Sensors That Last
At the heart of VEGA's pressure range is its proven ceramic CERTEC® measuring cell, renowned for its long-term stability, low drift and high durability. The range includes submersible pressure transmitters, Bluetooth-configurable pressure switches and DP systems for filtration and flow applications.
Flush mounting abrasion-resistant housings and lightning protection are optional to address a wide range of treatment and network monitoring applications. WRAS-approved variants are also available.
Easy Replacements for Discontinued Probes
With Hawker Probes not available VEGA has a straightforward upgrade path. Our conductive level switches are trustworthy level sensing in sumps chemical vessels and much more with ATEX compliance available and simple integration into current control systems.
As the industry moves into AMP8 with a focus on resilience compliance and digitalization VEGA's sensors provide dependable future-proof support for evolving monitoring and control requirements.
