Gas Engine Specification Supplier Expands Into New Markets
CooperOstlund, the UK’s leading provider of gas engine specification and maintenance services, has signalled its commitment to developing business in new markets with the strategic recruitment of Sales Manager Paul Seed. An experienced CHP professional, Paul will be tasked with securing new engine maintenance contracts and promoting the financial benefits of embracing CHP.
With more than 20 years’ experience in gas engine sales, Paul will focus on vertical markets (such as leisure and hospitality) to complement CooperOstlund’s existing presence in the food waste and agriculture sectors. His extensive experience working with hotels to place CHP engines to heat swimming pools will provide him with a strong platform to drive long-term corporate growth.
Johan Ostlund, director at Northamptonshire-based CooperOstlund, commented: “With ongoing subsidy digressions and ever-increasing utility costs, we believe that educating the market about the value of CHP is vital.
“Customers need to work with partners who have knowledge and insight to help them make informed purchasing decisions. With Paul joining the CooperOstlund team, we can offer an even more tailored consultancy service that meets the needs of businesses across the hospitality, leisure, education, agriculture, food and waste sectors.”
Paul added: “It’s an exciting time to join the team at CooperOstlund. It is a robust company with a good, strong reputation and there are plenty of opportunities for the business across many different sectors. I look forward to meeting existing partners and taking the CooperOstlund ethos of honest counsel and bespoke insight out to new customers.”
