Intelligently designed, GEMÜ plastic multi-port valve blocks (M-Block) can be developed into compact system components with a high degree of functionality whilst saving space – combining multiple functions in one block unit such as mixing, dividing, diverting, draining and feeding a very wide variety of fluids (including many chemicals).
They can also fulfil safety functions, double shut-off (double block and bleed), cross connections and control functions. These individual functions serve very specific purposes in individual situations, such as sample extraction, distribution of chemicals, coupling to cleaning media (CIP) and ensuring a minimum flow rate for controlling the media.
In connection with process automation, pressure/temperature sensors can also be integrated to the valve block. Another significant advantage is its modular construction that allows the block to be extended by simply connecting additional blocks within seconds, without any extra piping, adhesive or welding. Thereby giving customers the flexibility to modify and modularize their plant quickly and easily.
