High Current PCB Connector Delivers 200 A of Power SMT Radsert

Amphenol Industrial Products Group, a global leader in interconnect systems, has just introduced SMT Radsert a compact, high current PCB power connector that enables power delivery of 35 A to 200 A. Thanks to its flexible design it can accommodate any dimensional constraint and stack height.

These new board-level connectors have been designed for power supply manufacturers specialising in energy storage systems and data centre equipment. They have a small footprint and present unlimited PCB layout choices. Available in tape and reel packaging for high volume applications, the connectors allow designers to bring power to a board and its components from busbars suspended from above or below.
SMT Radsert connectors are available in both press-fit and solder versions. They are rated for applications ranging from 35 A to 200 A. The connector’s RADSOK pin and socket technology is high reliable and durable, has low mating force and higher amperages within smaller footprints.
