The HydroWhirlâ„¢ S tank washing nozzle range has recently been expanded to include ATEX certified versions for use in atmospheres that are potentially explosive. Available from nozzle specialists BETE Ltd the innovative HydroWhirlâ„¢ nozzle is designed to meet the exacting standards for effective cleaning-in-place (CIP) required in the food, dairy, beverage, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. The new ATEX versions are certified for use in potentially explosive areas and they also meet the requirements for gas and dust approvals for all zones (0,1 and 2).
HydroWhirl nozzles are self-cleaning and self-lubricating, so the possibility of process contamination is eliminated, while its compact design allows it to be fitted through small, restricted access flanges. They are ideal for medium tanks (up to 5 metres in diameter), used in the chemical, food, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries, where superior cleaning combined with reduced cycle times, lower water, energy and chemical consumption are increasingly becoming important considerations.
Typical applications include food and dairy for raw milk storage, spray driers, process and storage vessels, beverage and brewing, for process vessels, bright beer tanks, coppers and maltings and for chemicals, coatings and paints manufacture for process and storage silos and mixers.
