HYBRID CENTRIFUGE (liquid – liquid separator)
CTST has developed a new and efficient range of centrifuges offering real time separation of immiscible liquids. The centrifuge is multi-functional and has a long history in process improvement.
The Hybrid Centrifuge (HC) utilises centrifugal force generated inside a spinning rotor about a central axis to separate liquids of different specific gravity to vastly improve process conditions.
The Hybrid Centrifuge has got multiple functions:
- Liquid-liquid separations
- Chemical extractions
- Water washes
• Reactions
The HC machine is being utilized in various industries, such as oil & gas, chemical /
pharmaceutical and food & beverage.
The CTST HC product range consists of multiple types of centrifuges, all with various sizes and capacities up to net 30 m3/hr. We can also supply accessories for this product such as the feed pump, valves, etc. The housing of the new machine is executed in Polyurethane (PUR) with an inner sleeve of stainless steel. The machine is there for considerable lower in weight and more cost-effective.
Based on the application and the liquids in the process, the sleeve can also be made of other material.
